I was asked to print the 2017 Christchurch Art Map at M/K Press for the event ‘The Longest Night’, which bought together eight Christchurch galleries for the night of Wednesday 21st June. Each gallery held events such as artist talks, gallery tours and open studios, and shuttles were available to transport gallery goer around five key spots throughout the evening.
The Christchurch Art Map was first launched in 2015 with eight Christchurch galleries, two of which have since shut. Now boasting eleven galleries throughout the Central City, Sydenham and Ilam, these galleries all look to be a more permanent feature within the still ever-changing city.
